As the days stretch longer and the light takes on that unmistakable golden glow, June feels like the perfect moment to throw open the studio doors, embrace fresh inspiration, and celebrate the colours and textures of Summer.

This month we’re delighted to introduce four beautiful new textile designs inspired by the natural rhythms of water and boating, flora and fauna and architectural details discovered along the way. 

As the seasons shift and the light changes, we’re reminded just how much beauty there is to be found in the everyday. At Kate Cledwyn Designs, every piece begins exactly there – in the world around us. Each design starts as a moment captured through Kate’s lens, then carefully transformed into fabric while preserving the original colours, textures, and atmosphere that made it special in the first place.

Kate will be exhibiting a selection of her photographic wall art at Salisbury District Hospital, as part of their 30-year ArtCare Programme. 

She will be showcasing 30 stunning designs from 8th May until 12th June in this month-long exhibition.

Finally, Spring has arrived, and with it, we are delighted to share some fresh updates from Kate’s studio.

Four new designs have just been released across three of our collections, each continuing our exploration of colour, texture and narrative through fabric.

As the calendar turns, many of us feel the familiar itch to refresh our homes. Not necessarily with a full renovation or a trolley dash through a furniture showroom, but with something more thoughtful: pieces that feel personal, layered, and alive with history.
