Mesmerising May
As the seasons shift and the light changes, we’re reminded just how much beauty there is to be found in the everyday. At Kate Cledwyn Designs, every piece begins exactly there – in the world around us. Each design starts as a moment captured through Kate’s lens, then carefully transformed into fabric while preserving the original colours, textures, and atmosphere that made it special in the first place.
This month we’re delighted to introduce four new designs, each drawn from a different collection and each telling its own story.
From soft, nature-led tones to bolder, more expressive compositions, these new pieces reflect the diversity of inspiration that surrounds us – fleeting light, quiet waterscapes, unexpected details – all translated into timeless, versatile designs for your home, business and creative projects.
Mirror Effect
In addition, we would like to introduce you to the next four designs, from four of our collections, all of which can be purchased through our Etsy shop.

MALTA FLOW
Every design remains true to its origin: no artificial alterations, no overworking – just authentic colour and form, exactly as it was found.
You can explore the full details, scale, and fabric options for each new and existing release over on our Etsy shop, where the collections continue to grow month by month.
A few reminders for the weeks ahead:
Our wall art exhibition at Salisbury District Hospital is continuing throughout the month from 8th May – 12th June. If you find yourself nearby, it’s a wonderful opportunity to see a selection of Kate’s work presented in a different setting – a calm, reflective space that complements the spirit of the designs beautifully.
We will also be participating in a Lunch and Learn live TEAMS Q&A hosted from Salisbury Hospital on May 22nd from 12.15-12.45. Link here if you would like to join
Meeting ID: 378 084 338 782 892
Passcode: vS2Cv2DP
And as always, our Open Studio runs every Wednesday from 9am to 4pm. Whether you’d like to browse, chat about ideas, or simply immerse yourself in the collections, you’re warmly welcome to stop by.
Attached above are some examples of Kate's sculptures in situ at Leonardslee Gardens, now on show.
Thank you, as ever, for being part of our journey – your support allows these captured moments to become something lasting, meaningful, and shared.
